- We do not add checkout surcharges for the methods above. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion or international transaction fees, if applicable.
- All charges are processed in the currency shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
Checkout Security
- Our site uses HTTPS/TLS encryption from the moment you enter checkout.
- Sensitive card details are submitted directly to our payment partners and are not stored on our servers.
- Our processors use industry-standard security and tokenization. Additional verification (3D Secure/OTP) may be requested by your bank to prevent unauthorized use.
- Orders may be screened for fraud prevention. If we cannot verify payment details, we may contact you for a quick verification or cancel and refund the order.
Charges and Authorizations
- Cards: You are typically charged at the time you place the order. Some banks first display a pending authorization that converts to a settled charge; timing is controlled by your bank.
- PayPal: The charge posts when you approve the transaction in your PayPal account.
- Statement descriptor: You may see RAWSTREETWEARCO.SHOP or our payment partners name. This can vary by provider and region.
If Your Payment Fails
Payment can fail for several reasons (billing address mismatch, insufficient funds, expired card, 3D Secure/OTP not completed, bank security blocks, or network timeouts). Try the steps below:
- Confirm your card number, expiry, CVC, and billing address exactly as your bank has it on file.
- Complete any 3D Secure/OTP prompts from your bank.
- Disable VPN/ad blockers temporarily and retry, or use a different browser/device.
- Try another method (e.g., PayPal or an alternate card).
- Call your bank to approve the online/international charge and try again.
- Still stuck? Email [email protected] and well help or send a new secure payment link.
If you see multiple pending authorizations after failed attempts, only the successful charge will settle. The others should automatically drop off per your banks timeline.
Refunds to Your Original Method
- Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method for security reasons.
- Timing depends on your provider: cards typically 5 10 business days; PayPal is often faster but can vary.
